Meeting Space

Your event needs a home base—a place to gather and meet and create. We have a variety of spaces that can meet your needs.

Empty room with large tables and purple chairs, a meeting or conference room.

Proett Conference Center-Nelson Rooms and Jones Room

The Nelson room can be divided into North and South by means of an accordion sliding partition. The space is carpeted and can be setup with tables and chairs in a number of configurations. The most common types of setups include Lecture Style (chairs in rows facing the front), Classroom Style (8-foot tables with 3-4 chairs per table facing the front) or Boardroom Style (4-6 tables in a rectangle with chairs on the outside). There is great overhead lighting and substantial natural light on the south end through sliding glass doors with roller shades.

The Jones Room is a smaller space that can be separated from the Nelson room through an accordion sliding partition. This space is good for 12-15 people meeting Boardroom Style.

Nearby are bathrooms and a small kitchenette with a coffee maker, microwave, fridge, sink and counter space for use by the group for snacks.

Upper Area Lodge

Upper Area Lodge is a great space for 50-60 people to meet. With plenty of great windows showcasing the beautiful nature just outdoors, it is a favorite spot for adult groups and youth groups. This 30X50 space features carpet, plenty of tables and chairs, a working fireplace, a small kitchenette (coffee maker, sink, microwave, fridge and counter space) and 2 bathrooms. Access to a 70” display on a rolling cart allows presentations, video and music.

Below this space is a similar sized space called the Lower Area Lodge. This tiled space, with windows on one side has some older couches, some tables and chairs and is suitable for a smaller group to meet or a youth group to use as a home base while spending most of their time outdoors.

Large, empty gathering hall with a sloped ceiling, multiple windows, ceiling fans, and a stone fireplace.

West Dining Hall

The West Dining Hall feels like a traditional summer camp space with the comforts of climate control and suitable AV capabilities. It is a large 50X50 space with easy access to bathrooms and plenty of round or rectangle tables and stacking chairs. During the summer, campers eat meals in this space.
