Scrolling is traded for conversations around the campfire. Peace is found on a hike through the woods. Voices are lifted in worship at the outdoor chapel. This is a place of memories and friendship, of transformation and adventure. It is a place of sanctuary and inspiration.

Thousands of people come every year seeking rest, community, spiritual growth and rejuvenation within these wooded acres. From summer campers to retreat guests, it’s hard to deny the growth and life change that happens here every year. Your gift to Calvin Crest Camp and Conference Center helps us continue to provide the very best facilities, experiences and leadership so that everyone who comes here feels welcomed and inspired.

Where can I direct my gift?

  • General Fund - Your gift will provide support to our programs, staff training and development, facility upkeep and insurance. This keeps the lights on and allows us to plan, grow and improve.

  • Scholarship Fund - The Scholarship Fund helps provide need-based financial aid to campers during the summer who might not be able to afford to attend camp. Your gift helps to cover the costs of camp.

  • Designated Gifts - Calvin Crest occasionally has specific funding efforts and gifts given to those efforts are used for that purpose through the completion of the project. Excess funds given may be used at the discretion of the Board of Directors for similar projects or general funding. If you have a specific project that you would like to fund, please reach out to Craig Huffman, Executive Director for more information.

What options are available to make a gift?

  • Make an online gift using a credit card.

  • Mail a check to the Calvin Crest Office at 2870 County Road 13, Fremont, NE 68025

  • Make a recurring gift using your credit card.

  • Give through Amazon! You can check out our Amazon Wish List and choose to purchase items on behalf of camp. Mail your items to Calvin Crest at 2870 County Road 13, Fremont, NE 68025

  • Calvin Crest has an account to receive gifts of stock. Calvin Crest’s policy is to liquidate the gift upon receipt.

  • Gifts from your IRA. The Pension Protection Act of 2006 allows for tax-free distributions to non-profit charitable organizations from Individual Retirement Accounts (“IRA”). An IRA participant, aged 70 1/2 and ove, can donate up to $100,000 for each calendar year from an IRA account tax-free to qualifying charitable organizations. Calvin Crest is a qualifying non-profit organization and would welcome your IRA distribution. Please consult with your financial advisor to review your IRA distribution options and what is most prudent for your personal situation.

  • Make a gift such as a bequest, charitable gift annuity, charitable lead or remainder trust, or other planned giving vehicles. Please consult with your financial advisor to determine the best method for you.
